Beyond Basic Borders

Changing to mitered corners or adding blocks may create a delightful difference. Almost any block can be added to borders to create more interest. Basic math and the golden ratio help you achieve an interesting yet beautiful border.

Supplies List:
Quilt top without borders or a quilt panel plus fabric for the borders. The border fabric may be yardage, scraps, and/or blocks,
Standard Sewing Supplies: Thread, sewing machine with bobbin, and quarter-inch foot. Scissorssnips. Rotary cutter and rulers. Seam ripper. Pins. Paper and pencil for notes. Tape measure.
