Wool Club
This is a once-a-month meeting on the third Tuesday of each month. We start around 9:30 in the morning and finish around lunchtime. Each month, we have a different program. Sometimes, we show a different idea or technique, help with finishing projects, and do other fun stuff. We are very blessed to have wonderful friends and teachers who share their expertise and imagination. Our group consists of wonderful people who want to share their knowledge and ideas with new, fabulous people who have no idea which end to use on a needle.
We always welcome new friendly faces to our club and encourage them to participate in our activities. After our meetings, we often stay and enjoy some stitching time. We use both hand and machine stitching techniques with wool, whether with appliques, quilting all wool, or fabric. We also experiment with roving. If you have never sewn with wool before, that's okay! We offer monthly starter kits to help you get started and encourage everyone to join the fun. Bring your project, a friendly face, or simply yourself!
